Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in combat sports. Aspen Ladd trained in BJJ, kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before making her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Ladd was on a stunning three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In all three, she finished her opponent right in the first round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian prior to going to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen a unanimous defeat and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's amateur career. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the fight in one round with a TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and won via armbar submission in the 2nd round. Aspen utilized the techniques she learned from wrestling to defeat McGill. Aspen ended her fight via TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) at a "catchweight"(138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd was unable to put on weight. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy by using TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound for a second-round TKO victory. When she next faced Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. She also received the bonus for performance of night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos anjos-lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first fight she's had in a major role. Ladd won the night's main event fight bonus, after both fighters had an intense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16-seconds to break her winning streak. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya after the third round in UFC on ESPN 7. As a last-minute replacement for her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. She lost the fight via majority decision.
